My name is Kerry and I have been working in the curtain and blind industry since 1987. I first started working in various workrooms carrying out basic machining before progressing on to work for a high-end company making handmade curtains and blinds in their workroom, where I honed my skills for many years. In 2000 I made the decision to become self-employed, making and supplying curtains and roman blinds to residents and shops in Havering and the surrounding areas.

Many customers enquired if I could supply other types of blinds, this prompted me to establish the company Ballinger Blinds now known as Ballinger Blinds and Shutters.

Our curtains, roman blinds and rollers are all made in house.

Other types of blinds are manufactured by some of the largest and well known manufacturers in the Industry, all BBSA registered (British Blinds and Shutter Association) ensuring quality along with an extensive range of products.
